About Me

Hi I’m Laura, the lady behind Mala Mia NYC!! In case you’re new to the site I wanted to take a moment and share a little bit about me and my business.

I started my journey with making Mala jewelry about 6 years ago after going to a spiritual retreat and seeing people wearing beautiful mala beads that were symbols of their life and brought meaningful spiritual connections to their yoga and meditation practices.

When I returned I devoured information about crystals and made it my daily ritual to practice meditation with different stones so that I could become better attuned to their vibrations and the healing process that I experienced was life changing and so profound.

Finally, one day I decided to make my own unique version of sacred Mala talismans. Making it my personal mission to incorporate all that I learned about crystals so that others could experience the healing process that transformed my life. I am so incredibly grateful to be able to make these one of a kind pieces that reflect the spiritual path of the wearer, opening gateways to inner landscapes of the soul.
